The Hartwick College Board of Trustees announced Tuesday that President Margaret Drugovich has accepted their offer to continue as Hartwick’s leader for an additional eight years. The new contract starts June 1st. Since her appointment as Hartwick’s 10th president in 2008, Drugovich has brought the College to the forefront of regional and national discussions of higher education. She recently concluded work on the bipartisan U.S. Senate Task Force reviewing government regulations of higher education, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the New York Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities and the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.
