What do you think is the most profitable food sold in the U.S.?  It’s not what you might think.

Dog food is the most profitable food sold in the U.S.   Most dry dog food consists mostly of animal by-products and grain fillers and it's inexpensive to produce.

On a similar note, if you’re wondering what “people” food sold is the most profitable here in the U.S., it's pizza and chicken. No surprise there since both are cheap to produce and who doesn't like pizza?  It's the best food ever in my opinion.
