It seems like everyone I know is asking me the big question..."Are you going to see Fleetwood Mac in Albany?"  I would love to say "Yes!" but I will not be attending and I do have my reasons.

First of all the Fleetwood Mac concert at the Albany Times Union Center on March 20 is not a cheap thrill. Tickets range from $79 for "nose bleed" seats to almost $4000!  I guess I could pay $80, which turns into $160 for my husband and I to go, but what really holds me back is the hour and 15 minute drive back to Oneonta at the end of the night when I just want to be home in my bed.  I know, I'm showing my age as I do love my comforts.  But it's more than the the cost and the inconvenience.  Since I have already seen Fleetwood Mac in concert, on their reunion tour "The Dance" back in 1997, I feel like their new incarnation without Lindsey Buckingham can't compare since I just love his singing and guitar playing.

With that said, I do believe that the addition of Mike Campbell and Neil Finn into the group is going to bring something new and exciting to the show.  Mike Campbell is an amazing guitarist from Tom Petty's Heartbreakers while Neil Finn was frontman for Crowded House. And of course you have Fleetwood Mac members Stevie Nicks, Christie McVie, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood.

There's no doubt it will be a great show for Fleetwood Mac fans, even if you are a diehard Lindsey Buckingham fan, and if you do think you'll want to go, don't wait on getting tickets since it will probably sell out.
