The Village of Cooperstown is issuing a Snow Emergency beginning Saturday 1/19/2019 at 12 pm expiring Monday 1/21/2019 at 9am. There is to be no parking on Village streets during this time. Parking will be available in the Doubleday Parking Lot.
Oneonta Public Transit-SUNY Oneonta Route will stop at 4:00 on 1/19 and all other routes will end at 6 p.m. on 1/19. Routes will resume Monday 1/21 at normally schedule times
Delaware Academy has cancelled all activities Saturday 1/19 through Monday 1/21
The Oneonta High School Junior class Jono event (overnight lock-in) has been cancelled (event to be rescheduled)
Hartwick swimming and diving meet at Alfred University scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled. Saturday's home basketball game times with St. John Fisher have been moved up. The women will now play at 1 p.m. with the men to follow at 3 p.m. Tonight's home basketball games with Elmira remain at 5:30 p.m. (Women) and 7:30 (Men).
-Annual Roast Pork Dinner at the First United Methodist Church of Walton, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, January 19th has been postponed to Saturday, February 2nd.
-Charlotte Valley Presbyterian Church cancelling worship and all activities for 1/20
-Sunday morning worship at First United Methodist Church in Unadilla is canceled.
-Main Street Oneonta Baptist Church-No 9:00 service on Sunday. 10:00 service still resumes.
- The Catskill Valley Wind Ensemble concert scheduled for Jan. 20 in Oneonta has been cancelled
- The January 19 and Sunday, January 20, performances of "The Children's Hour" by Stuff of Dreams Productions at Foothills have been canceled due to the impending snow storm. They are rescheduled for Saturday, February 2, and Sunday February 3.
-The Townsend Elementary show, A Night of Country Music and Comedy, has been rescheduled for next Saturday because of the approaching winter storm.
-The William B Ogden Free Library in Walton will be closed on Saturday, January 19, 2019
-A Night of Country Music and Comedy for Saturday, January 26, at 6:30 pm in the Walton HS Auditorium. This is a PTA sponsored show with over 100 cast members. All tickets already purchased will still be good for this date. Tickets are still on sale at Townsend Elementary.
-On Monday, The Arc of Delaware County has postponed the Stuff The Bus Food Drive. You can continue dropping food pantry donations off at The Arc's day program sites over the next two weeks, and we will STUFF THE BUS at the Walton Big M on Monday, February 4th, from 10 am- 1 p.m.
