Hi this is Britney, the new intern! This morning I was sent out to take photographs of the new bus launch for Oneonta Public Transit (OPT), and I was delighted to run into a young Australian baseball team!

Oneonta Youth Football 2014 sign ups are this Saturday, June 7th 9:00am-10:30 am at Doc Knapp Little League Field (rain or shine).

The weather looks perfect for golf this Sunday, June 1st, as the Family Service Association in Oneonta hosts their 7th Annual Golf Tournament at Ouleout Golf Course in Franklin, NY to benefit local families.

The Oneonta High School Girls Sports Programs have made it to the final round of the USA Today Best Girls Sports Program in the country contest!

Oneonta NY, a.k.a., "Soccertown USA", has a long history of top notch soccer, beginning with Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta.  The love of the game grew in the community from that collegiate influence and to this day, the Oneonta Soccer Club, formed in 1978, provides many opportunities for kids to enjoy this exciting sport.

Oneonta Youth Football Sign-ups will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 and Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 9:00am-10:30 am at Doc Knapp Little League field.

The Oneonta High School Girls Sports Program needs your vote NOW!  OHS has been nominated as one of 225 schools in the running for the best Girls Sports Program in the Country based on overall performance of all sports teams at the school.

With live wrestling action in Oneonta this Saturday, May 3, 2014, I had to share this 'Throwback Thursday' picture.  Rumble On The Mound, a fundraising event for the Oneonta Outlaws, reminded me of a great story.
