Rare Bruce Springsteen Poster From 1971 Sells For $650 on eBay
A poster of one of the oddities in the Bruce Springsteen‘s pre-fame career recently sold for $650 on eBay. The poster is for the “Ernie the Chickin’ Festival” at Newark State College in Union, N.J. on May 15, 1971. Music was performed by several local acts including the oddly named “Dr. Zoom and the Sonic Boom with Bruce Springsteen.”

Legendary Bassist Donald ‘Duck’ Dunn Passes Away At Age 70
Donald “Duck” Dunn, who played on hundreds of rock and soul classics as the bassist for Booker T. and the MGs, and later as a session player, passed away Sunday morning at the age of 70. Steve Cropper, the MGs guitarist, broke the news on his Facebook page at approximately 12:30AM Eastern time.
Trailer For Neil Young’s ‘Journeys’ Released
Sony Classics Pictures has released a trailer for ‘Journeys,’ the Jonathan Demme-directed film which combines footage from Neil Young‘s 2011 solo show at Toronto’s Massey Hall with a road trip up through his native Ontario. The documentary, which premiered at Sundance this past January, will be in theaters June 29.
