"The storm of the century" ended up being...well, not the storm of the century.

Despite massive predictions, precautions and planning the "historic" blizzard that rolled up the East Coast petered out by all measures.  Schools in our area are open and on time (Hancock is the only school closed today) and New York City received around 5 of the predicted 24 inches of snow they expected.  6,000 flights in and out of our area were canceled in anticipation of the fierce blizzard.  Boston, Cape Cod and other New England areas are still in for a whammy but as far as we are concerned in Central New York...fugettaboutit!!

Go to work and go to school!
