Walton Man Arrested For Damaging Quarrying Equipment
According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, a man was arrested Friday on charges he damaged quarrying equipment in Masonville. Police say Dakota Coffey of Walton entered the stone quarry and intentionally damaged quarrying equipment by throwing miscellaneous machines and small engines into a pond located on scene. Coffey was arraigned before Judge Jackson at Masonville Town Court and was remanded to the Delaware County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
