Update: Destination Oneonta Fabulous Friday Season Opener

Warm weather brings a lot of fun to Downtown Oneonta in the form of Fabulous Fridays, a Destination Oneonta event on the first Friday of each month through early Fall.  The idea behind "Fabulous Friday" is to bring the community together for a free evening to enjoy arts and culture in Oneonta.

The Fabulous Friday season was set to open on May 3, however, due to the rainy weather forecast, Destination Oneonta has made the decision to move most of the event to May 17 at 5:30pm with Tom & Doug classic car show on Oneonta' Main Street from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.  One of Oneonta's favorite classic bands, "Off the Record" will be playing in Muller Plaza and Northern Eagle Beverages, Inc. will be doing tastings from Cooperstown Brewing Company.

There is one thing that will still take place on May 3, the Oneonta History Center will host a Cake Walk from 5:00p to 8:00pm with cakes.  For more information on the Cake Walk you can call the History Center starting at noon at (607) 432-0960.
