The community service event sponsored by the United Way of Otsego and Delaware Counties that was held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a bg success.  A large group of volunteers met to sort out and fill a number of personal hygiene kits for those in need.

20 volunteers put together 95 hygiene kits at the Martin Luther King, Jr. volunteer event. These kits will go to the United Way's partner agencies to give to those in need.

The organization offered thanks to the Chestnut Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for providing the volunteers with snacks and to Southside Mall for letting them use the community room.
