Two New Studies Reveal the Obvious
Day after day, I read about studies that end up revealing the obvious. Then I wonder, who bothers to fund these studies? Here are a couple of the latest examples of pointless studies:
- A new study/survey by Motorola Mobility found that around 41% of all the shows people record on their DVRs, never get viewed. People basically record so many shows that they fill up their DVRs with the intent of watching the programs back at at later date but never actually do. Did we really need a study about this?
- A new report based on research done by AAA in Australiasays that children in the car are the worst driving distraction, not cel phones or devices. Any parent could have told you that. The problem is, you can't really outlaw kids being in the car so what do we do with that knowledge?
