Yankees reliever and arguably baseball's best-ever closer, Mariano Rivera, was presented with a "Chair of Broken Dreams" before Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Twins.

Rivera, known for a biting cut fastball, has broken thousands of bats during his career, and the Minnesota Twins decided to honor that fact with a rocking chair made entirely out of broken bats.

The Twins presented Rivera with the chair on the field before the game. Rivera later threw two pitches in the ninth inning, recorded one out, and picked up his 27th save of the season as the Yankees won, 7-3.
