TV is Literally Going to the Dogs [Video]
So how much do you love your dog? Enough to subscribe to DogTV for Fido's very own entertainment? DirectTV has just added a DogTV channel to their lineup, which is the first TV network designed specifically for the entertainment of dogs. It will cost dog owners $5.99 a month to subscribe and it will be available starting this summer.
You're probably wondering what kind of programming DogTV will be offering, after all, it's meant for dogs. Apparently a variety of stimulation and relaxation will be offered up for your dog's enjoyment, including “scenes with and without other animals, animation sequences, and a variety of moving objects."
If this really works to keep your dog engaged, it might be just as fun for canine owners to watch their pet watching the channel, as it will be for the dog. The dog below is a perfect example. There's no doubt that this pooch is having fun watching "Animal Planet". Wait for it...
