Looking at COVID-19 case numbers reported by The Otsego County Department of Health (4/4): there were 19 new confirmed cases Sunday with 10 people currently hospitalized with complications from the virus.  There are currently 178 known active cases in the county with a total of 55 COVID-19 related deaths. The Health Dept. has a COVID-19 dashboard with daily updates for the latest information.

Delaware County Health officials have an update from Friday (4/2), reporting 21 new cases that day. At that time, there were 181 active cases and 18 people hospitalized. In Chenango County, the health department reported new COVID-19 stats for 4/2 on their facebook page. At that time, the health department was reporting 136 active cases, 10 hospitalizations related to the virus, and the total number of deaths related to COVID-19 complications are currently at 65. For those who are currently eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine and want to get on the county's wait list, send an email with your name, date of birth, address, phone number and eligibility criteria to COVID19@co.chenango.ny.us.
