The Most Fun Family Games

Spending quality, fun time with your kids can sometimes be a bumpy road when it comes to pleasing everyone.  It almost seems impossible but I have discovered two games that all the members in my family agree on for a good time:

Hit or Miss (by Ceaco)

Apples to Apples Jr. (Mattel)

Why are these two games so great?  After going through an entire cupboard of games with my kids, I have discovered that these two are very low level, in terms of being competitive games.  My two kids are very competitive with each other and all other games we've tried have always resulted in a shouting match with ugly insults being thrown around.  Needless to say, the fun always abruptly ended.  With these two games, you don't get anyone out since both are different types of word games with points scored for coming up with the right words.  You can't see who's winning along the way like you can with most board games and both games allow for some fun creativity.  I highly recommend both of these games for family fun!
