It seems like this crazy world we live in is taking it's toll.  Hyper sensitivity abounds and now a 16-year-old high school student is being punished for heroism.  The student who  attends Cypress Lake High School in Ft. Myers. Florida,  was trying to prevent another student from being shot while on a school bus.  A 15 year old was pointing a loaded gun at another student so the teen then wrestled the revolver away from the one  threatening to shoot.  For his heroism, the student is being suspended from school for three days for grabbing the gun away.

Is that where we are now?  We're now punishing people who are trying to prevent tragedy?  If we continue to create an environment where we're all afraid to help each other for fear of the repercussions, just imagine what kind of world we're going to end up with.
