If you have ever traveled along Route 73 near Lake Placid or any of the other roads that access the Adirondack High Peaks, you know that there are hundreds of cars parked along the roadside. To alleviate the parking and hiking gridlock, a reservation system is in place.

In an effort to alleviate parking problems and hiking crowds, the Adirondack Mountain Reserve in Keene is continuing with its reservation system. They started it last year and decided to keep it going.

As more and more activities start to re-open across New York state, camping is next on the list. Today (Monday, June 8th) you can reserve a campsite in all of the New York State Parks. There are some restrictions and reservations will fill up fast. Here's what you need to know.
