Oneonta City School District interim superintendent David Rowley has been fielding calls from concerned parents since the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Conn. Rowley has been assuring parents that the school district has specific security measures and practices in place to handle any situation.

The Oneonta City School District Board of Education held a public informational forum on the proposed capital project Wednesday evening. Paul Bedford, from Keystone Associates, was there to present the proposed work that will be done with the capital project buildings upgrade.

The Oneonta City School District Board of Education will hold a public informational forum at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the Valleyview Elementary School cafeteria. At this time the public will have the opportunity to listen to a description of the proposed capital project.
