If you won the New York State lottery or Mega Millions, can you remain anonymous? You think it would be a simple "Yes or No" answer...It's not but here is what we have.

(UPDATED, 11:25 am).  The name of the woman who won the $5,000,000 is Audrey Waltimyer of Sharon Springs.  At the check presentation today from the NYS Lottery, Waltimyer announced that she chose the lump sum payment which netted her nearly $3,000,000 after taxes were taken out...

Jessica McLean of Oneonta has been identified as the $1 million dollar winner after her boyfriend, Edward Lambright, gave her the lucky “Cash Deluxe” New York Lottery ticket as a gift at Easter.
