Both by birthright and through work experience, Jason Bonham has a better understanding of the inner workings of Led Zeppelin than most people, and he shared a bit of that knowledge during a recent appearance on Train frontman Pat Monahan's podcast.

We already knew that Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones put some thought into getting back together without Robert Plant after Led Zeppelin's triumphant one-off reunion show in 2007, but in a recent interview, the pair delved into just how close they came to starting a new band.

Last Sunday's Kennedy Center Honors provided a reunion of sorts for Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones, bandmates in Them Crooked Vultures. While drumming during the Led Zeppelin tribute was a dream come true for Grohl, he says recording with the Zep bassist was an unforgettable experience.
