After Tuesday night's heavy rainfall in Otsego and Chenango Counties, flooding from overflowing rivers and streams caused problems for some commuting area residents, schools and even the Oneonta Country Club.

Now that Hurricane Florence is close to hitting land, The National Weather Service out of Binghamton is predicting that a potential for flooding in our Central New York Region is a real possibility.

It looks like Old Man Winter's grace period for snow is over.  The National Weather Service has issued (subject to change) a Winter Weather Advisory from 1pm today through 6pm Tuesday for Otsego and Delaware Counties.
