The Susquehanna Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has announced it is bringing in dogs from other parts of the country and other countries to find them their forever homes. Executive Director Stacie Haynes says they are using the shelter’s excess capacity to find new homes for other dogs from places where they may be euthanized. Two dogs from a Georgia shelter are available for adoption and 13 from Beirut, Lebanon are to arrive this week.

The shelter is located on Route 28, just south of Cooperstown. To learn more, visit www.sqspca.org.
