SUNY Oneonta has been busy preparing for a variety of scenarios for the fall semester, based on projections of what mandates Governor Cuomo may hand down for the college community and officials have submitted a proposal for conducting classes for the 2020-2021 school year. Whether or not those classes will be in person or online depends on the Governor and the status of the COVID-19 virus in New York State.

According to SUNY Oneonta President Barbara Jean Morris, the proposal represents the college’s preferred method for holding classes and it will be reviewed by SUNY and a regional committee before New York State officials consider the plans. Morris says they will be prepared for whatever decision is made.
