SUNY Oneonta students are teaming up Saturday with community volunteers in Otsego and Delaware Counties for “Into the Streets,” the annual day of service sponsored by SUNY Oneonta’s Center for Social Responsibility and Community.

Activities begin at 9:00 a.m. with a kickoff at SUNY Oneonta’s Chase Gymnasium then teams of SUNY Oneonta students will travel to assigned sites where they will spend up to six hours in volunteer activities such as painting, cleaning and landscaping at over 40 different sites.

The Center says more than 20 percent of the SUNY Oneonta student body participates in community service activities.
