SUNY Oneonta Hosting Acclaimed Author To Speak

Tonight’s SUNY Oneonta Red Dragon Reading Series guest is acclaimed ecologist and author Sandra Steingraber. She explores the links between human rights and the environment, with a focus on chemical contamination, climate change, and shale gas extraction via fracking. Steingraber takes a personal and scientific look at the issues and offers insights into how to protect the environment and communities. She brings a clear, lyrical voice to the complex evidence of biology. Steingraber will appear in the Hunt Union Ballroom at 7:30 p.m.
