State Offers Homeowners Help With Energy Efficiency

New York State is allowing homeowners to get a free energy check-up on their home to help increase its efficiency. The Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program administered through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority not only helps homeowners see where their homes need improving but also can help them find available financing to pay for the improvement work.

Qualifying homeowners can receive up to $4,000 in grants for a single-family home, or $8,000 for a 2-4 family property. To find out more, CLICK HERE.
