The Village of Stamford will share in nearly $37 million in state grants and interest-free loans to support drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects across New York State. Governor Cuomo announced that Stamford will receive $6.2 million for the construction of a new water storage tank and control building to replace the Village’s old tank along with replacement of undersized water distribution mains at several locations throughout the Village. The grants were approved by the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation Board of Directors.
