Main Street Oneonta will come to life tonight with music, dancing, food, and art as MSO presents another wonderful, free, Fabulous Friday event, celebrating arts and culture in Downtown Oneonta from 5pm to 8pm.

It's a Northern Eagle Beverage Tasting Night (21 and over). This is a new addition to Fabulous Fridays.

6pm - 8pm: Let's go to the Hop!  Enjoy classic songs from the 50's and 60's sung by Sock Hop singers Jeff Wood, Mary Frances Perricone, Judy Pitel and Thomas Pondolfino.  This is the perfect occasion to put on your dancing shoes, so be prepared to twist the evening away.

5pm - 7pm: The Oneonta Garden Club hosts its annual Art In Bloom show, in which they've created exciting floral arrangements interpreting selected artwork from the exhibition currently on display, titled the Mansion Show. There will be a Peoples' Choice Award allowing visitors to vote for their favorite arrangement. Refreshments will be served.

5pm - 7pm: Art Exhibit opening reception: "Together".  This exhibit features larger scale paintings and the collaborative sculpture “Phoenix.”  There will be refreshments, art for sale, and at 6 pm, a dramatic performance by Main View Gallery artists inspired by the witches’ scenes from Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The performance is directed by Carmela Marner, Artistic Director of Franklin Stage Company.

7pm - 9pm: Enjoy the popular band Flame as they return to Oneonta for The Arc Otsego’s Summer Sizzle Dance. The dance is free and open to the public.
