Sidney Man Ends Up In Double Trouble

A man from Sidney ends up in double trouble for first attacking an individual then violating a protection order brought on behalf of that victim. According to Village of Sidney Police, the incident took place Monday on Smith St. and an investigation resulted in 23-year-old John Rathburn of Sidney facing multiple charges. At arraignment Rathburn was released on his own recognizance and the protection order was issued. A few hours later Rathburn was charged with the order violation. He was again released.
