Sidney Man Arrested for Sex Crimes Against a Child

On June 5th, New York State Police at Norwich reported the arrest of William J. Quigley, 53,  for sex crimes against a child.

Quigley, a resident of Sidney in Delaware County,  is charged with one count of the Class B felony of sexual conduct against a child, 1st degree, and five counts of the Class B felony of criminal sexual act, 1st degree.

The arrest was made after an investigation into inappropriate sexual acts with a child under the age of thirteen.

Quigley was arraigned in the Oxford Town court and sent to the Chenango County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail, where he is awaiting future court appearances.
