The Beatles go on a deep dive into sessions for the last album they worked on together as a group, while Robbie Robertson returns with his first studio project since 2011. The list of September 2019 New Music Releases, as per usual, also includes a raft of great live albums.

The expanded Abbey Road box-set reissue includes a new remix of the original 17 tracks, along with 23 additional recordings and demos, most of which are previously unreleased. Robertson's Sinematic is being issued in conjunction with the premiere of the documentary Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and the Band at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Slash's string of sold-out 2019 dates at London's Hammersmith Apollo with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators will be highlighted in a new multi-format release. The Ramones are also celebrating the 40th anniversary of their first live album with a six-disc box that includes three unreleased concert recordings from the same tour.

Alice Cooper's Breadcrumbs, a six-track EP that pays tribute to his garage-rock heroes, arrives in advance of a full-fledged studio album that's expected next year. Black Sabbath have mapped out a nine-LP vinyl set focusing on their first era with Ozzy Osbourne – but it's a limited-edition run of just 3,000 copies.
