Senator Oberacker Helping Oneonta School District Recoup Lost Money

State Senator Peter Oberacker announced a bill he sponsored to assist the Oneonta City School District was unanimously approved by the Senate Education Committee. That bill preserves $400,000 in state transportation aid that was due to the school district for the 2019-2020 school year but was denied due to a clerical error.

The legislation will now go to the Senate Finance Committee and then to the full Senate for approval. Assemblyman John Salka is introducing companion legislation in that chamber.
