Salvation Army Bell Ringing Campaign Underway Locally

The Salvation Army, located on River street in Oneonta, encourages all local residents to keep an eye out for the bell ringers out this holiday season.  The holiday campaign is the largest fund-raiser each year for the Salvation Army.  The organization does a great deal of good in our area and your donations are greatly welcome.

Leslie Ann and Big Chuck were out helping long-time Salvation Army bell ringer Lou Gage (pictured) in appealing for funds at the Oneonta Price Chopper on Tuesday.  Lou has been volunteering to ring the bells each Christmas season for over 36 years! If you would like to volunteer some of your time to help with bell ringing, the Salvation Army is in great need!  Please give them a call at (607) 432-5960.
