Roxbury Man Indicted For Public Assistance Fraud

A Delaware County grand jury indicted a Roxbury man for fraudulently obtaining public assistance benefits. According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Anthony Bellissimo of Roxbury illegally received more than $42,000.00 from SNAP, HEAP, and Medicaid over a five year period. Bellissimo faces 7 felony welfare fraud charges along with a charge for filing the false claims. There’s been no word on if Bellissimo has been arrested on the indictment.
