Every year, the community gathers in Wilber Park in Milford, NY for Relay for Life Otsego County. The day is billed as a family fun day, and will host a wide swath of activities while raising funds for cancer research and patient care. For 2023, their goal is to raise $35,000 for the cause. This year's event takes place on Saturday, September 23rd 2023.

The Relay For Life movement is dedicated to helping communities attack cancer. Through funds donated, time given, or awareness raised, our communities are teaming up - virtually or in person - to make a difference. When we rally together in the fight against cancer, we can accomplish anything.

Every Contribution Made Counts

As of publication, Relay for Life of Otsego County has raised $19,012.12 towards their goal of $35,000. If you can't make it to the event, but would like to donate, click here.

At Relay For Life no donation is too small, each and every dollar counts. Your donations help fund groundbreaking cancer research, patient care programs, and can make a difference in communities like ours. With every donation, you are helping the American Cancer Society save lives.

Light Up a Memory

One of the signature, and more emotional portions of the event are luminarias. Once the sun goes down, the luminarias are lit in remembrance of a loved one affected by cancer. Collectively, a moment of silence is observed to remember those to whom they are dedicated to. Making a donation for a luminaria helps to fun the American Cancer Society's mission of saving lives.
