On our latest "This Week in Central New York," we interviewed three local people with great events coming up.

Big Chuck interviewed Jim Maloney and Flo Loomis about the annual CANO "Chili Bowl."  This event, now in its 15th year, has become one of the signature winter events in Oneonta.  This year there a record number of chili "cookers" are expected and more than 400 people will attend this great event.

Eric Malanoski interviewed Erin Tobin.  She gave us the details about a new series of grants becoming available to small cities for historic preservation.  An open meeting to discuss this will take place on February 12 at Stella Luna Ristorante in Oneonta at 4:00 pm.

And Big Chuck also chatted with Patti Zellmer.  She is the program director for the Otsego 4-H.  She gave us the details of Drone Discovery Day coming up on February 9 at Schenevus School at 8:30 am.

Join us every Saturday at 7:00 Am on your favorite Townsquare Media radio station for "This Week in Central New York."
