Post 259 American Legion Riders Invite You To Join Them For a Beautiful Motorcycle Ride For a Cause
It was a cause taken up 19 years ago after the tragic events of 9/11 (2001) in our country that left so many bereaved families and friends of those lost following acts of terrorism. That's when the American Legion Riders of Post 259 in Oneonta stepped in to raise funds for education scholarships for children of post 9/11 veterans by creating the Annual American Legion Riders Legacy Run.
The 19th annual Legacy Run is coming up on September 11 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm beginning and ending at Oneonta Veterans Club at 279 Chestnut St. hosted by Post 259 of Oneonta along with Otsego County's Red Knights Chapter 44.
Registration costs $20 per rider and will take place at the Veteran's Club in Oneonta from 9:45 am to 10:45 am with the ride taking off at 11:00 am. Included in the ride are food, live music, and more.
