Police Increase Patrols For Holiday Weekend

You can expect to not only see more traffic for the Fourth of July but also more DWI patrols and checkpoints. New York State started its five-day STOP-DWI crackdown Friday and it runs through Tuesday. Troopers issued over 12,000 tickets during its Memorial Day campaign and arrested 240 drivers for DWI.
