UPDATE: Ricken has been adopted!

Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – his name is “Ricken”. Each week on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Leslie Ann will host Allison Hungerford, licensed Vet Tech at the Susquehanna SPCA, who will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home.

This week we are going to feature Ricken, a 5-year-old male cat who is searching for his forever home. Ricken is a very sweet and lovable boy who generally keeps to himself in the shelter's community cat rooms. Because of this, he is often passed over when it comes to people looking for cats because the non-shy ones who greet visitors the second they enter the room, tend to be the ones noticed. In a home setting, Ricken may just be one of those outgoing cats that greets you at the door, but in the shelter he is shy. He seems to enjoy the company of other cats and would love to snuggle up in your lap.
