Pet Of The Week — ‘Melody’
UPDATE: Melody has been adopted!
Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – her name is “Melody”. Each week on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Leslie Ann hosts Allison Hungerford, licensed Vet Tech at the Susquehanna SPCA, who tells us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home.
This week we are going to feature Melody, a 2-year-old female cat, who is searching for her forever home. Melody is a very pretty girl who seems to be very timid when you first meet her, but with time she warms up to be very friendly. She often gets overlooked because while she is out and about in the community room, she shies away when people approach her. However, if you are patient she will actually seek out your attention and follow you around the room asking for it. Melody is one of those kitties who just needs someone to give her time in her new home, she will make a fantastic pet. Folks who are interested in adopting Melody should give the shelter a call.
To meet Melody or any of the other adoptable dogs and cats, give the SQSPCA a call at 607-547-8111 to schedule a time to visit for convenience, although walk-ins are welcome.
