We all know that the food you eat impacts your health eventually.  Now it seems that eating more fruits and vegetables makes you not only healthier, but happier according to a new study from Dartmouth University.

80,000 British people were asked to rate their lives on a scale of 1-10.  Those who consumed eight or more servings of vegetables daily, rated themselves 0.27 points happier, on average, than those who had no servings to speak of. The effect was strongest for those who ate seven or more servings of produce daily.

Did they really need a study to figure this out?  It seems obvious to me that if you eat healthier, you'll BE healthier and therefore happier.  Also, I don't know about you, but I feel much happier with myself when I eat food that's good for me, as opposed to sweets and junk food.  So we can add that factor in as well.  It's not rocket science, it's just common sense.
