It seems like health information is changing all the time doesn't it?  I know it's hard to keep track of what's good to eat and what's not and some sources of information are credible and some are not.  That's why when I come across a credible source of health information I share it.

This morning on Bassett Healthcare's Facebook page, I saw this:
"Good news: Consuming monounsaturated fats like peanut butter, olive oil and even dark chocolate may help banish belly fat. What’s your favorite source of “good” fat?"

I found a website, nutritiondata.self.com, that actually ranks foods for monounsaturdated fat.  Various vegetable oils, nuts, and even olives topped the list.  Now, if you're like me, you pay attention to any news that lists recommended foods to get rid of belly fat.  But remember, fat is still fat and too much of a good thing is NOT a good thing.  Just remember the old adage, "Everything in moderation" and don't go crazy downing nuts, peanut butter and olives.
