Pastor Named As Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain

According to a press release from the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Craig DuMond has appointed Pastor Larry Light of the New Hope Church in Walton as a Sheriff’s Office Chaplain. He will join a group of agency Chaplains from several religious denominations to deliver Chaplain services to inmates confined to the Delaware County Corrections Facility as well as members of the Sheriff’s Office. In a news release DuMond said spiritual healing is such an important piece of the rehabilitative process and Pastor Light, along with the other Chaplains, provide an invaluable service in this endeavor.
