Oxford Man Sentenced

The Oxford man who admitted to beating his ex-girlfriend to death in December 2013 was sentenced in Chenango County court Monday to 20 years to life in prison. 49 year old William Danielson pled guilty to 1 count of 2nd degree murder in September, which ended his court trial. Danielson attacked Lucinda Knoll, the mother of Danielson’s child outside her home at the Maple Grove Trailer Park in Norwich in December of 2013. She died two days later from her injuries. As part of his plea deal, other charges were dropped and he waived his right to appeal.
