The Otsego County Sheriff's Office have arrested an Edmeston woman for the theft of several firearms.

The arrest of Angela Eileen Fetzinger comes following a four month investigation after several firearms were stolen from a New Lisbon residence in September, 2013. The homeowner had been away for several days and upon returning home realized he was missing three registered semi-automatic handguns.

One of the handguns was recovered from a Hartwick Seminary storage unit along with Feitzinger's personal property. The other two handguns were allegedly sold in Utica.

Otsego deputies located Feitzinger during a road check on State Route 28, brought her in for questioning, then arrested her.

She is being charged with grand larceny, 4th degree; criminal possession of a weapon, 3rd degree; criminal possession of a firearm. All are felonies.

Feitzinger was arraigned in New Lisbon and remanded to the Otsego correctional facility on $10,000 bail.

If convicted she faces up to seven years in state prison. Otsego DA John Muehl and Assistant DA William Green will prosecute the case.
