Otsego County Office for Aging Seeks Intergenerational Pen Pals

Seniors wanted! The Otsego County Department of the Office for the Aging is seeking students and senior adults to come together as pen pals. They are partnering with local school districts to launch an intergenerational Pen Pal project during a time of increased isolation. The project will pair an older adult with a local student who will exchange letters to increase socialization and reduce boredom and loneliness. Pictures, drawings and paintings are also welcome from young students who want to share their artwork with a local senior.
