Woodstock is back! Well, it's kind of back. Last month we reported that a Woodstock-type festival could be returning to the Upstate New York site of the original 1969 concert that featured The Who, Santana, Jimi Hendrix and many others. Today we have confirmation and some of the details.

It has been 54 years since the Woodstock Music and Arts Fair took place on what is considered hallowed ground in Bethel, New York. I'm not talking about Bethel Woods Center For the Arts, which is a 16,000 seat amphitheater. This festival will take place on the original site.

Introducing the Catbird Music Festival scheduled for Saturday August 19th and Sunday August 20th 2023 in Bethel, New York. The full lineup will be announced on Monday March 6th at 12 Noon but we can tell you that The Lumineers are already listed as a headliner.

According to the festival website, Catbird Music Festival will feature some of your favorite Americana, folk indie music performers and more. Think along the lines of Avett Brothers, James Bay and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real type acts. Would be pretty cool to see and hear this music performed on the historic festival field for the first time in decades.
