On Friday, July 20th, the Violence Intervention Program of Opportunities for Otsego is hosting its annual charity golf tournament. This “Captain and Crew” golf outing helps provide safety and support to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and violent crime in Otsego County.

Each player receives an afternoon of golf with cart at the Colonial Golf Course, a buffet lunch, on-the-course competitions, and giveaways.

Prizes, donated by Callaway Golf and PING, will be awarded for first place team, second place team, the men’s longest drive, and the women’s longest drive. There will also be a putting contest for cash and prizes.

Registration is limited to 30 teams and ends on July 16th. The first 15 teams to register will be entered into a drawing for other great prizes. Cost is $60 per player/$240 per team.

Golfers can register two ways:

  • Online here. Credit card and check payments are accepted through this option.
  • Mail In: Complete and mail in the registration form available in the brochure. Check and cash payments only.
