Oneontan Graduates From Fire Protection Specialist Academy Class
An Oneonta man is one of the graduates from a training program with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services Office of Fire Prevention and Control. Jason Murray with the Inspections & Investigation Branch in Oneonta completed the Fire Protection Specialist Academy Class, a 14-week training program that focused on topics related to fire protection, prevention and safety. State Fire Administrator Francis Nerney says the graduates skills and experiences, coupled with their 14 weeks of training, have prepared them well to join the ranks of the Office of Fire Prevention and Control.
