Oneonta YMCA Gets Grant to Bring Lacrosse Here

The Oneonta Family YMCA announced it received a starter kit grant from US Lacrosse, the nation’s governing body of the sport, in order to build a program to introducing young athletes to the game. The grant included 30 lacrosse sticks, two dozen practice balls, and two small nets. It also includes complimentary US Lacrosse memberships for two adult coaches and up to 30 youth players. 27 grants were awarded across New York.
